Electrophysiology Physician

Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Cardiology with Electrophysiology subspecialty (BC or BE)
• Valid Arizona medical license or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system and performing TEEs
• Ability to perform moderate sedation independently
• Experience with ablation procedures, with documented 100 EP cases in the last 2 years emphasizing ablations
• ACLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and procedural competency in cardiac arrhythmias and device management

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience managing complex heart rhythm disturbances
• Proficiency in interpreting advanced electrophysiology data
• Previous experience working within a hospital consultative service

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
• At least 2 years of applicable professional experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Arizona-registered DEA license (or eligibility)
• Comfortable performing TEEs and moderate sedation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including potential overtime and holiday shifts at 1.5x pay rate
