Job Summary:

Asheville Cardiology Associates (ACA) is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join our expanding general cardiology practice in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams
  • Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board
  • BLS, ACLS certification required
  • Cardiology APP experience preferred; and/or cardiology clinical rotations  
Position Highlights
  • Hybrid Role - IP /OP Position
  • Schedule is a mix of 12 and 10 hr. shifts
  • APP will split time between the office and hospital
  • Performs admissions, discharges, consults and general rounds on cardiology patients in the hospital
  • Works autonomously seeing patients in the outpatient clinic setting
  • Inpatient days only; 12 hr. shift; 7A-7P
  • Split days include inpatient in am; clinic in pm; 10 hr shift; 7A -5P
  • Outpatient only days; 10 hr shift; 7A-5P 
  • Inpatient coverage will include occasional weekend shifts
