100% Inpatient Cardiologist – Cardiac Hospitalist | Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Required

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist who has completed a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship to join our established team as a full-time Cardiac Hospitalist in Lafayette, Louisiana.

IMPORTANT: This is a Cardiology Position.  Applicants must have completed a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.       

This position is not intended for a physician who has completed only an Internal Medicine residency or a traditional Internal Medicine Hospitalist fellowship/training pathway.       

This opportunity is specifically designed for a fellowship-trained cardiologist who wants to practice 100% inpatient cardiology .       

  • Cardiovascular Disease fellowship completion is required    
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease    
  • 100% inpatient cardiac hospitalist responsibilities    
  • No outpatient clinic responsibilities  
  • This is not a general Internal Medicine Hospitalist position    
  • Ideal for a cardiologist seeking a dedicated inpatient role utilizing their general/non-invasive cardiology expertise
