Job Description

Hennepin Healthcare seeks a full-time Neuroradiologist to join our very collegial team of 15 system-employed Radiologists serving a diverse community. The position includes all areas of diagnostic neuroradiology with an emphasis on ER/trauma and outpatient related multimodality imaging. All Radiologists have an academic appointment at the University of Minnesota.

The majority of clinical time will be spent on neuroradiology with some weekday general body imaging (including XR, CT, and US; NM/body MRI/Breast optional). Evenings and weekends are covered by residents in-house, with staff reads done from home. Overnight coverage is provided by residents in-house and teleradiology services. Many opportunities to advance academically and/or in leadership positions are available. Responsibilities include teaching students and residents rotating from the University of Minnesota.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work primarily in Hennepin's downtown Minneapolis Level 1 trauma hospital, Hennepin Healthcare. Most shifts require general neuroradiology and body imaging competency with additional emphasis on trauma imaging. Weekend work will be exclusively in Neuroradiology. Opportunity to get involved in spine injections. Will not participate in IR casework.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota or be eligible for licensure
• ABR board certified/eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
