Dentist / Director needed in Northern Virginia Located in Woodbridge, VA 23 miles to DC 18 miles to Alexandria VA Full time, permanent 70% clinical; 30% administrative Schedule: 10 hour shifts The Dental Director oversees all aspects of the Dental Practice, including budget, staffing model, operations, patient care, supervision of clinical staff, compliance with regulatory agencies, grant requests and reporting, marketing and outreach, development and implementation of policies and procedures governing all aspects of clinical operations, infection control, quality assurance, equipment/supply purchase and maintenance, patient complaints, and incident reporting. The Dental Director is a hands-on position with 70% of time dedicated to patient care and 30% to administration of the dental practice. The Dental Director provides quality oral health care services offered by the Center to its patients, emphasizing the prevention and treatment of disease by the patient. The Director will respond to all patients need for accessible, quality, oral health care regardless of socio-economic status. Patient health conditions include common, complex and/or advanced orally-related diseases needing continued supervision of the prescribed treatment plan. The Dentist practices independently and interdependently by collaborating with management, Physicians, Dentists, Dental Assistants, Hygienists, and other health care professionals in and outside of the Center.
