The VA Eastern Oklahoma Healthcare System (EOVAHCS) is actively recruiting an Endodontist to help care for our Veterans American s Heroes. EOVAHCS consists of two ambulatory care centers, a tertiary care facility, and six community-based outpatient clinics. It serves Veterans residing in multiple counties throughout the Eastern Oklahoma region. There are 55,000 Veterans in the EOVAHCS service area. Job Description
The Endodontist should be proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, including a full range of Endodontics in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases, dental health problems, and associated medical conditions that require standard corrective, restorative, or preventive measures.
The service consists of 60 employees. The Tulsa Clinic has 2 General Dentists, 1 Prosthodontist, and 1 PT Periodontist, with 4 Hygienists to Support, 11 Dental Assistants, and 1 Lab Technician. The Outpatient Clinic patient panel size is 400- 600 patients. Emergency walk-ins are on rotation. The dentist reports to the lead Prosthodontist and works with staff dentists from 3 dental clinic sites for patient care.
Work Schedule: Tuesday -Friday, 7:00 a.m. -5:30 p.m.

The Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center is a primary medical and surgical facility located in Muskogee, OK, that provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services. Outpatient care is also provided at two community based outpatient clinics in Hartshorne and Tulsa, OK. The medical center serves a veteran population of more than 56,400 throughout eastern Oklahoma providing medical, surgical, primary care, and mental health services. It has 91 hospital beds. It is offers an academic setting affiliated with the University of Oklahoma’s College of Medicine and the Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine hosting residents and Interns within the facility. The medical center also provides training for other disciplines, including physical therapy, nursing, radiation technology, phlebotomy, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social work, optometry, and psychology. With 4 active research projects in 2008, the Medical Center Research & Development Program is an integral part of the medical center’s mission and plays a very important role in the health care Veterans receive.
