RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking an Observation Unit/RDU (Rapid Decision Unit) Director to join our team at Community Medical Center. An experienced board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with an interest in operations is encouraged to apply.
This position will provide services and functions as is reasonably requested by the hospital relative to the services being performed, and a qualified candidate will ensure the RDU meets high standards of health in accordance with policies adopted by the medical staff, hospital administration, and the Board of Trustees. The RDU Director will be responsible for being in charge of and directing the administration and supervision of all medical services performed in the RDU, managing the RDU per organizational and regulatory guidelines, as well as the management of all physicians and mid-levels in accordance with their job descriptions.
