Overview:
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Physician to join our esteemed team at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional emergency care in a vibrant city renowned for its outdoor activities and quality of life. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume pediatric emergency department, serving approximately 55,000 patients annually.
• Manage a broad spectrum of clinical cases with varying levels of acuity, demonstrating expertise in pediatric emergency medicine.
• Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams—including Pediatric ICU (PICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Neonatal ICU (NICU), and hospital medicine—ensuring comprehensive patient management.
• Supervise and teach Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six training programs, fostering an educational environment.
• Participate in didactic sessions and training programs for Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellows, if desired.
• Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance documentation efficiency and patient care quality.
• Work balanced shifts with the flexibility for overtime if preferred, supporting departmental coverage needs.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (recent graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply).
• Residency in the immediate local area or willingness to relocate; relocation assistance may be available.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory, as opportunities are available for both new and seasoned PEM physicians.
• Candidates outside the U.S. and those requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible for this position.
