Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Wound Care in Batavia, OH

Our esteemed healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Locum Physician to provide comprehensive wound management services at our outpatient clinic. In this vital position, you will treat a diverse range of wounds, including vascular ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, traumatic injuries, and postoperative surgical wounds. Your expertise will ensure patients receive the most advanced care, from debridement and skin grafts to hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound education. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills in wound assessment and management, proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems—specifically Epic—and excellent patient education capabilities. A solid understanding of trends in wound healing and experience supervising hyperbaric oxygen treatments are highly valuable.

While not mandatory, familiarity with advanced wound therapies such as bioengineered skin, negative pressure-assisted closure, and skin grafting is a plus. Additional beneficial skills include experience managing complex cases like gangrene, radiation injury, or burns, along with good communication and patient support skills.

Applicants should have at least an MD or DO degree with licensure to practice in Ohio, with prior experience in outpatient wound care settings preferred. The role is temporary with potential for privileging, providing a dynamic environment where you can demonstrate your expertise and enhance patient outcomes.

Other requirements include the ability to travel within the service area, valid medical licensure, and relevant certifications in wound management. The role officially begins on December 8, 2025, and will continue through March 31, 2026.
