Clinic Hours: Monday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $74.00/hour , with additional earning potential based on experience
No Weekends | No On-Call

Medcor is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide PRN coverage in our employer-based clinic located within a manufacturing site in Independence, OR .

This position focuses on primary care, urgent care, occupational health, and preventive services .

Please note: This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed hours . Providers with availability to pick up occasional weekday shifts are encouraged to apply.

The Opportunity

You’ll provide care to employees while working alongside onsite clinical staff, a Medcor oversight physician , and Medcor’s clinical and operational teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide primary and acute episodic care
• Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses
• Manage workers’ compensation-related conditions
• Provide urgent and preventive care
• Perform surveillance and regulatory examinations
• Educate patients on medical conditions, treatment plans, and healthy behaviors
• Document care using Medcor’s EMR and clinical tools
• Collaborate with workplace health, safety, HR, and operational teams
• Support workplace wellness and preventive health programs

Qualifications & Work Requirements

Required

• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current, unrestricted Oregon license
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Strong computer skills and EMR experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, patient-focused approach
• Comfortable working in an onsite manufacturing/worksite clinic environment

Preferred Experience

• Occupational health
• Employer-based/worksite clinic experience

Occasional flexibility for additional hours may be requested with advance notice based on client needs.
