Deaconess Health System, a nationally ranked health system, is seeking a Full-time  Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician  to join our dynamic and growing team within our  Illinois Region  which will include  Anna, Marion, and Red Bud Illinois.

Opportunity Highlights

• Approximately 18,000 annual visits (25-30 patients/shift)
• Physician shift options include  12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am)  and  24-hour shifts at select locations
• Full-time = 12 shifts/month (1,728 hours/year)
• Advanced Practice Provider support
• Holiday coverage required
• Robust  hospital-employed physician group  with full-time and supplemental physician support
• EPIC EMR system  for seamless documentation
• Requirement  – Prior EM experience and/or EM fellowship training is required.
• J -1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply

Compensation & Benefits

• Average annual compensation is $265 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $500,000
• Up to  $164,000 in additional incentives , including:
• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• $75,000 student loan forgiveness
• $24,000 educational assistance
• $15,000 relocation allowance
• Comprehensive benefits package including:

• 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans
• CME allowance and paid CME time

STONE FAMILY CENTER

Evansville is home to the new Stone Center, which contains Indiana University School of Medicine – Evansville as well as programs for the University of Evansville and USI. More than 250 USI graduate-level students in the Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy, Master’s of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs, and 120 undergraduate, senior nursing students will use the Stone Center.
