• 50/50 Flex Role: Balanced inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology practice.
  • Full-Time Schedule: 40-hour workweek consisting of 36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week.

Training/Education:

• Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
  • Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from said residency.
  • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.

This new construction is a $163 million project to bring top-quality healthcare close to home. This new building will house specialists in cancer medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopaedics and more. 

The outpatient surgery center will feature three operating rooms and two procedure rooms. In addition, the new cancer center will provide patients with access to the best specialists, leading-edge research, advanced technology, and clinical trials.
