What You'll Do:

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care, including consultations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Perform a variety of procedures such as upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and ERCPs
• Manage patients presenting with GI bleeding, foreign bodies, esophageal issues, and motility disorders
• Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, to optimize patient care
• Respond to emergency consultations during on-call periods within specified response times
• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in Meditech EMR
• Educate and build relationships with patients and their families, managing a diverse and often complex patient population

What You Need:

• Kentucky medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology
• Experience with endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and stent placement
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced outpatient setting
