Full Time Hospitalist in Amory, MS

Join the dedicated team at Relias Healthcare as a Full-Time Hospitalist at North Mississippi Medical Center-Amory in Amory, MS. 

Highlights: 

  • Work closely with 2 APCs during the day, collaborating on floor patients and admissions. 
  • Take charge of overseeing the open-ICU during the day. 
  • Enjoy flexible scheduling with 24-hour shifts. 
    • 12-hour day shift and on-call night shift.
  • Competitive Compensation package, including a flat night rate, additional compensation when call in at night, plus a quarterly incentive metric bonus. 

Job Details:

  • Manage a 25-patient average daily census and 4-5 admissions per day.
  • Embrace the flexibility of working a 12-hour daytime shift alongside 2 advanced practice clinicians. 

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a hospital medicine setting with APC Collaboration.
  • Procedural experience preferred. 

Requirements:

  • MD or DO Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • ACLS certified.
Specialty Services:
  • Surgery Coverage
  • GI (Monday-Friday)
  • OBs, Peds, PICU
  • Cardiology w/o intervention
  • Ortho coverage (Mondays)

NMHS Amory is one of the 6 community hospitals that support the Main Hospital Campus in Tupelo. NMHS Amory is approximately 30 miles east of Tupelo and is a 95 bed facility with 16 ED beds. NMHS Amory has the following specialty services: Surgery, GI, OB, Peds, Cardiology.
