What You’ll Do:

• Provide OB hospitalist services including deliveries, triage, and unassigned gynecological emergencies
• Manage obstetric cases, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Perform and assist with GYN emergencies and procedures
• Collaborate with hospital staff and medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient encounters accurately using the EMR system (TBD)
• Respond to high-acuity obstetric cases in a Level 1 NICU environment
• Cover clinic and call responsibilities as per the MHAS model

What You Need:

• Valid medical license to practice in Iowa
• Board Eligible or Certified in OB-GYN or relevant specialty
• Experience with OB triage, deliveries, and gynecological emergencies
• Ability to manage a high volume of patient encounters efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This position involves providing essential OB hospitalist coverage at a reputable hospital in Waverly.
