Quick Facts

• Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey (also coverage in Egg Harbor Township and Hammonton)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing until a permanent neurologist is hired
• Shift: Monday – Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Hours/Week: Full-time, minimum 3 days per week commitment preferred
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• Licenses/Certifications: Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license; DEA and New Jersey CDS prior to start; BLS certification
• Experience: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and manage new and established adult and geriatric neurology patients.
• Manage conditions such as headache, seizure disorders, neuropathy, movement disorders, MS, and post-stroke care.
• Review diagnostic imaging, lab results, and outside records for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate care with primary providers and specialists.
• Complete documentation, patient correspondence, and follow-up in Cerner/Oracle Fusion EMR.
• Work independently across multiple locations, providing consistent outpatient neurology coverage.

What You Need
Required:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA and NJ CDS registration prior to start date
• BLS certification
• Ability to work across multiple practice locations with a minimum commitment of three days per week

Preferred:

• Previous outpatient neurology experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to manage common neurological conditions and coordinate multidisciplinary care

About the Assignment
This assignment supports an established neuroscience program serving communities throughout southern New Jersey. Providers will work within outpatient neurology practices located in Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and Atlantic City. The schedule and site assignments are coordinated in advance to meet patient access needs and provider availability.
