Dartmouth Health Department of Neurology has a unique opportunity for a BC/BE Neurologist with Fellowship training in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology with experience in Intraoperative Monitoring (IONM) to join a well-established team in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire (NH).Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is home to the only level 4 Epilepsy Center in the state of New Hampshire as designated by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. Our Centers team of nine providers, seeks a BC/BE Neurologist with relevant fellowship training to join them. Candidates must have experience in epilepsy, as well as IONM and genuine clinical interest in participating and developing the IONM program.The very active IONM service provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art neuromonitoring for the full array of neurologic surgeries. The position also requires proficiency with EEG interpretation, epilepsy surgery monitoring including depth electrode recordings and evoked potentials. An established track record of related research publications and grant support is preferred.We offer the opportunity to participate in innovative research studies and protocols related to the Epilepsy Center at Dartmouth. In addition, Dartmouth-Hitchcock provides an academic environment with participation in active neurophysiologic research. The successful candidate will have the chance to educate fellows, residents, medical students, nurses and technologists and will be appointed to a faculty position at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
  • BC/BE Neurology
  • BC/BE Clinical Neurophysiology and/or Epilepsy
  • Ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license
