What You’ll Do

• Provide expert clinical care in a Level IIIB NICU with approximately 625 admissions annually
• Lead and oversee clinical operations as Practice Medical Director
• Implement and drive quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and academic partners to expand neonatal services
• Support teaching roles involving medical students and residents in pediatrics and family medicine
• Mentor residents and staff in research and quality improvement projects
• Utilize advanced neonatal therapies such as high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy
• Work alongside multidisciplinary pediatric subspecialists, including maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification in Neonatology (MD/DO)
• Residency in Neonatology
• Valid medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• Proven leadership skills in a clinical setting

Preferred:

• 3+ years neonatal clinical experience
• Experience in an academic or teaching hospital environment
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
