Job Description

Memorial Healthcare System, one of the largest public healthcare systems in the nation, is seeking a trauma surgeon to join the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group, currently comprised of 300+ physicians. All candidates must be BE/BC in general surgery, with subspecialty eligibility or certification in surgical critical care. The successful candidates will demonstrate excellent skills in emergency general surgery, surgical critical care and traumatology and will assist in the implementation of the standards of trauma care following the guidelines and protocols put forth by the American College of Surgeons. Active participation in clinical research is expected.

This is a full-time employed position within the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers a competitive benefits and compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
