The Walker Center for Cancer Care is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join its collegial team at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York.

Physicians are employed by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and benefit from access to its clinical trials, treatment pathways, protocols, and specialized resources. An optional directorship opportunity is available for a physician interested in combining clinical practice with leadership.

Compensation and benefits

• Year-one salary of $510,000 plus WRVU productivity incentives

• Salary of $550,000 in years two through four

• $50,000 signing bonus

• $20,000 in annual education loan repayment

• $15,000 in relocation reimbursement

• Support for physicians pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

Candidate qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

• Subspecialty certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology and Hematology

• Patient-centered and team-oriented approach

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Exceptional clinical competence

• Enthusiasm for delivering excellent outcomes

• Leadership interest welcomed but not required
