Hematology/Oncology Physician – INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute – Oklahoma City, OK

INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute is seeking a BC/BE Hematology/Oncology Physician to join an established and highly collaborative oncology team in Oklahoma City.  This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive hematology/oncology care within a leading not-for-profit health system, supported by a multidisciplinary cancer program, advanced treatment capabilities, active tumor boards, and a strong network of specialty and primary care physicians.

The Hematologist-Oncologist will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to diagnosis, treatment planning, systemic therapy management (including chemotherapy and infusions), and survivorship care. 

The Opportunity

• Join a highly collegial, stable and cohesive group of Oncology physicians
• Comprehensive practice caring for patients with hematologic disorders and malignancies, including medically complex and high-acuity cases
• Robust state-of-the-art diagnostic, ancillary and clinical support
• Active multidisciplinary tumor boards and access to clinical trials
• Monday–Friday outpatient clinic located at INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute in northwest Oklahoma City
• Shared call with seven other oncologists –  modeled as one week of inpatient “hospitalist’ rounding coverage every seven weeks, with the other six weeks dedicated to outpatient only coverage
• Call coverage includes inpatient rounding, with a typical combined census of approx. 15 patients, and supports INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center and the adjacent Portland Avenue campus, and INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital
• Epic EMR – supports integrated coordination of oncology care across clinic, infusion, hospital and specialty services

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensure
