What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care at a community hospital outpatient center
• Manage approximately 12–15 established patients per day
• Conduct outpatient consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Respond to very light call (beeper only, 2–5 calls per week) for established patient issues with a 1-hour response time
• Collaborate with a team of 3 permanent HemOnc providers, along with nurses, PAs/NPs, and support staff
• Utilize EMR system (Aria) for documentation and patient management
• Assist in providing mission-driven, patient-centered care

What You Need

• Valid VA medical license (Active or eligible)
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology
• Experience managing outpatient oncology patients
• Ability to commit to a long-term position and drive distance candidates preferred
