inReach Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist for part-time work at a critical access hospital in rural Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician already in practice who wants to supplement their income with a low-commitment, meaningful outreach role.

With just 1–2 days of work per month, you’ll provide outpatient clinic care and perform minor elective surgical procedures—all without the need to relocate. inReach covers and coordinates all travel, allowing you to practice where you're needed most, on your own schedule.

Position Highlights:

• Flexible part-time schedule: 1–2 days/month (½ day clinic + ½ day elective procedures)

• Outpatient-focused role – no weekend call

• Fully equipped facility with access to specialty support

• 1099 contractor model with uncapped wRVU production bonus

• All travel coordinated and paid for by inReach.

• 1-year contract with preference for 3–5 year commitment

• Ideal for physicians licensed in Iowa or open to licensure

Candidate Requirements:

• MD or DO with completed Ophthalmology residency

• Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience preferred

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Comfortable providing clinic visits and minor elective procedures

• Must hold or be eligible for Iowa medical license

• No visa sponsorship available
