Duke University Hospital, Department of Pathology seeks an experienced surgical pathologist board certified in Dermatopathology.

Applicants should have board certification in anatomic pathology and dermatopathology. Competitive candidates are those with few years of experience, highly committed to patient care, who have excellent organization and interpersonal skills, and who seek to advance the field of dermatopathology through original and collaborative scholarship. Eligibility for licensure in the State of North Carolina is required. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with training and experience. 

Dermatopathology Division : Diagnostic responsibilities include neoplastic, non-neoplastic and transplant pathology as well as accompanying multidisciplinary conferences. Duke is one of the largest southeast academic centers receiving material from a variety of clinics like general Dermatology, Pigmented Lesions, Immunodermatology, Lasers/Wound Treatment, MOHS Surgery, and Hair Disorders, among others. The division focuses on three key areas: caring for patients, investigating skin diseases; and preparing students, residents, and fellows to be the next generation of highly skilled specialists.

The Division of Dermatopathology at Duke consists of three board certified dermatopathologists. We work closely with our dermatologists, surgeons, and oncologists to provide the best patient care.
