Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center (Charlotte, NC)

Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, located in vibrant Charlotte, NC, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Hemby Children's Hospital -a specialized pediatric hospital within an adult hospital.
About the Opportunity

• Comprehensive Pediatric Care: The pediatric unit includes a PICU staffed by Pediatric Intensivists and supported by a wide range of pediatric subspecialties.
• Collaborative Network: Our hospitalists provide essential support to a large network of pediatricians and family physicians.
• Teaching Role: Opportunity to teach Novant Health Family Medicine residents and UNC medical students.
• Flexible Scheduling: The position involves 1,950 hours per year, divided between day and night shifts. Physicians interested in exclusive nocturnist shifts are also welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
