Qualifications

• MD or DO from an Accredited School of Medicine
• Board Certified
• Completion of a recognized Pediatric Residency preferred
• Licensed or eligible to obtain medical licensure in the state of Kansas

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.

We are a tertiary care center, level two trauma center and is recognized by the Magnet™ organization. We are in our eighth year as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. As medium-sized integrated delivery system, we serve a 13-county region in Northeast Kansas.
