Family Medicine Physician - King William - M60362

The Department of Family Medicine & Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time Family Medicine Physician for the King William Medical Center. King William Medical Center serves a rural area northeast of Mechanicsville. The practice provides care for patients of all ages and includes opportunities for office-based procedures. As a rural site, the practice focuses on providing comprehensive care to all patients under their care. King William Medical Center is a busy clinical practice, with ample opportunity to build a panel while addressing local community needs. Start date of July 1, 2021 with competitive salary and generous benefit package as well as ability to earn clinical bonuses. This is a full time position. The doctor in this position will have the opportunity to be involved in medical student teaching and departmental research projects.

Required qualifications include :

• Board certified or Board eligible in Family Medicine
• Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
• MD or DO from an accredited university
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships
• Flexibility/adaptability

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in didactic and/or clinical teaching of medical students
• Research interests in medical education
• Family Medicine fellowship training
