Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge has an opening for BC/BE Hospitalist to join a group of physicians committed to providing quality hospital care and teaching. Applicants must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Experience in residency education is highly preferred. Will consider candidates with a fellowships in lieu of teaching experience.

Successful applicants will participate in required core teaching faculty pursuits. The training program requires faculty activities to include curriculum development, lecture presentations, research development /mentoring, and resident evaluation.  

Patients are cared for at Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 424-bed, acute care facility, serving the Northridge community since 1955.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Duties include direct patient care and clinical supervision of family medicine residents and medical students.
• Inpatient care skills are required and must be comfortable with ICU co-management.
• Hospitalist physicians will also have limited inpatient care admitting responsibilities separate from the teaching service.
• Schedule is a modified 7on-7off, 12-hour shifts.
• Hospitalist will be required to work 172 shifts per year.
• $275k annual compensation with benefits package
• 401(k) retirement, with matching after one year of employment

This position would be employed through Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. Our Medical Foundation is aligned with one of the largest health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.
