Dayton Children’s Hospital, in Dayton Ohio, is currently recruiting a child and adolescent psychiatrist for our mental health unit and consult service.

This schedule is  Weekend-only (0.8 FTE) position , with approximately 5 weekends off annually.

These roles are designed to support a more sustainable, flexible approach to practice while maintaining a strong clinical impact

This opportunity supports staffing for our new free-standing behavioral health building, which will:

• Double current inpatient capacity
• Expand specialized programming
• Enhance continuity of care by integrating inpatient, outpatient, and crisis services under one roo

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management in inpatient and consult settings
• Supervise psychiatric residents and child psychiatry fellows from Wright State University
• Participate in coverage aligned with role structure (inpatient, consult, and/or weekend coverage depending on position)
