A facility in Arkansas is seeking a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to assist with locum tenens coverage through August 2020. When needed, the locum will provide supplemental inpatient coverage for 8am-5pm shifts, plus call, for 7 days per week. Typical cases include weakness, rheumatic conditions, cognitive disorders, peripheral nerve disorders, cardiac and circulatory diseases. The average daily census is 12-15 patients per day, and notes are entered into EMR. The locum will be required to admit patients but will not be required to perform or interpret EEGs or EMGs. Candidates for this assignment must be board certified.
