Job Description

A facility is looking for general trauma surgery locums coverage.
Tree-lined walking and biking trails can be found all over Omaha, Nebraska. Omahas legendary for steak, but their Reuben is also just as well-known and something to try at least once on your assignment.
The locum will respond to trauma activations and acute care surgery consults while on in-house call, and round on inpatients as assigned. Required procedures include ED thoracotomy, REBOA, and resuscitation with blood products. Cases include all types ACS and advanced trauma cases. The schedule is 5-24 hour shifts in-house call per month, usually back up the day after call. The EMR is Epic. Credentialing takes about 90 days. Malpractice is covered. Travel, housing, and transportation are covered. NE license or active IMLC preferred. The license will be covered if needed.
