Job Description

Indiana University Health General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Division  is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Geriatrician to attend to patients in the nursing home setting and perform outpatient geriatric consultation at IU Health Methodist Hospital . Our Geriatrics team understands the intricacies associated with the care of older adults whose medical problems are often complex and interrelated. Be a part of the largest and most comprehensive health system in Indiana and in a specialty that is ranked among the nation's top bests by U.S. News & World Report . Our division has programs that capture patients in the whole continuum of Geriatric care including inpatient, outpatient, primary care, home visit consultative practices, and nursing home practice. 

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-430pm
• Minimal call requirements 
•  Affiliate Faculty teaching position with Indiana University School of Medicine  
• Well established clinical team of collaborative providers and interdisciplinary staff

Qualifications: 

• Preferred: Geriatrics Board Eligible or Certified; The American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM) Certified Medical Direction (CMD)
• Interested in current fellows and practicing physicians
