We are offering an exciting locum position at Northern Light Medical Management - Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. This role provides a unique chance to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise to contribute to high-quality patient care in a supportive setting.

In this role, you'll be responsible for a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including XR, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, US, and Nuclear Medicine. You will handle subspecialty case mixes such as ER imaging, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, MSK, neuro, pediatrics, and mammography diagnostics. Additionally, the position involves performing light IR procedures, biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal, CT-guided, US-guided), drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tubes, cysts), lumbar punctures, and joint injections. Average daily volumes are 90-100 studies, with expected wRVUs of 60-70 per 8-hour shift, ensuring a productive yet manageable workflow.

This position offers a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $19.50, complemented by weekly pay through direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program. We provide 24/7 dedicated support from a team committed to facilitating your success, along with paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws. Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses are included where appropriate.

Required skills include:

  • Certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology
  • Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities (XR, CT, MR, US, NM)
  • Ability to perform biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and joint injections
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality standards

Nice to have skills:
  • Experience with subspecialty procedures in neuro, MSK, or pediatric radiology
  • Prior outpatient or inpatient radiology experience
  • Knowledge of hospital-based workflows

Preferred education and experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Active medical license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of radiology practice or fellowship training

Other requirements:
  • Availability to start on 03/06/2026
  • Ability to travel (if applicable)
  • Board certification or eligibility in radiology
