Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding three (3) Rheumatologists to the group at Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital . The Hospitals are part of the  NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457 bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds.

Opportunity:

• The service at Jacobi Medical Center (Jacobi) and North Central Bronx (NCB) are an academic practice sponsored by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) and supported by the Montefiore Medical Center Rheumatology Fellows.
• Both inpatient and outpatient care, clinical supervision of fellows, residents and medical students.
• Practice has 1,700 unique patients between the two hospitals, with 52 receiving routine Biologic Infusion Therapy.
• The practice has an active Lupus Clinic, Joint Pain Clinics, Ultrasound Evaluation, Treatment Clinics, and Arthritis Clincs.
• Jacobi Inpatient service averages 7 consults per day, while NCB averages 3-5 a day.
• The service is a Division of the Department of Medicine with 4 full-time Rheumatologists and 100 full-time Medicine physicians and 156 medical residents.
• The Jacobi/NCB Department of Medicine has 15 Divisions with all medical specialties and is affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
