The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare Systems (CAVHS) is seeking a full time Physician (Rheumatologist) Position. The Rheumatologist will diagnose and manage rheumatologic illnesses including but not limited to metabolic diseases of the bone, osteoporosis, polymyositis, rheumatoid arthritis, crystal-induced arthropathies, scleroderma/systemic sclerosis, vasculitis. The Rheumatologist will perform and/or interpret boing and joint imaging, synovial fluid aspiration, and joint injections. The Rheumatologist will address Rheumatology inpatient and outpatient consults and performing electronic chart reviews and provide e-consultations. The Rheumatologist will also be responsible for trainee education at CAVHS for Rheumatology fellows and rotating medical residents in the clinics.
Work Schedule : Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with some evenings and weekend call.
