• Experience: Prior cardiothoracic surgical or inpatient hospital experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Manage post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients
• Perform emergency surgeries when necessary
• Take consults and referrals from hospital departments (ED, Cath Lab, etc.)
• Assist during surgeries, including vein harvesting and tissue retrieval for bypass procedures
• Write prescriptions and coordinate care plans
• Interpret diagnostic tests and order additional testing
• Document procedures and patient encounters accurately in EMR (Epic)

What You Need

• Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license, with experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery preferred
• Ability to perform post-op management, emergency procedures, and assist in surgery
• Strong clinical skills, including vein harvesting and emergency response
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
