• Shift: 24-hour call (7a-7a), Night call (2 hours gratis), Day shifts (7a-5p)
• Hours/week: Variable based on schedule during assignment
• Employment Type: Locum/Travel
• Licenses/Certs: Ohio Medical License, Board Certified in Surgery (if applicable)
• Experience: Proven cardiothoracic surgical experience required

What You’ll Do:

• Round on inpatient cardiothoracic surgery patients, including post-operative care
• Perform emergent and scheduled procedures, including CABG, thoracic, and vascular surgeries (vascular bonus NOT required)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Manage an average of 4-6 inpatient cases daily and 10-12 outpatient visits, including scheduled surgeries and follow-ups
• Actively participate in on-call rotations, managing emergent cases during assigned hours

What You Need:

• Valid Ohio medical license and appropriate board certification
• Proven experience in cardiothoracic surgery (including CABG)
• Ability to perform complex surgical procedures and handle emergent cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
